Althouse writes a great series of posts on how we as humans often deal with what is seen, but neglect what is unseen.

Sunday Ten
I'm gonna try and start a new tradition as part of my sabbath and each week post ten things that I am thankful to God for. (Thanks for the inspiration, here and here.)
- my brother (Happy Birthday!)
- a working washing machine
- getting a microwave (new) as a surprise on Teacher's Day
- a good internet connection
- a nearby Century Mart and McDonald's (American fast food is suddenly more desirable!)
- time to transition before I begin teaching
- high speed rail to Xi'an
- wonderful people to spend last week with
- a loving girlfriend
- His daily grace

Megatron, come!
Wouldn't 'Megatron' be a fun name for a dog? Think of the power in saying, "Megatron, come!" "Megatron, sit!"
Don't use a racist dog
Another reason why Althouse is so funny.
